Not a pen, pencil, etc – but a crutch with the appeal letter from Handicap International: albeit a miniature bamboo crutch taped to the letter.
While the letter came from Cambodia (with a postage stamp commemorating the organisation’s 25th anniversary), and was signed by the Cambodian Programme Director, donations go to a Home Counties UK address, [...]

Some years ago, living elsewhere, I participated in a continuing survey for Royal Mail. Each participant is given a special name – so that all post arriving for that name is known to be solely for the survey.
