The British Dental Health Foundation writes: “I have read about your current charitable work……….”, going on to ask for a donation. I view that sentence with suspicion, since the letter was sent to the address which I left four years ago, and the post code used is much older than that. The moral to charities is that if they want to get their teeth into something, they must do their homework, and use information which is up to date.
