Have you ever felt that you would pay good money to get out of some obligation to which you had agreed – perhaps after a little pressure had been applied?

Sound Seekers is putting that approach to good use. It is suggesting a number of worthy ways in which recipients of its letter could help the cause – eg. holding a tea and coffee morning, helping to set up a local volunter group, etc.

An ‘escape route’ is offered – which is simply to make a gift. For some, that may sound infinitely preferable to trying to persuade people to accept collecting boxes, or whatever.

And, for those who really would like to volunteer (whether in addition to, or instead of, donating), there are plenty of opportunities.
