Does The Prostate Cancer Charity feel that, by repeatedly asking me to send £1,000 to become a Founder Member of the Research Action Fund, it will wear down my resistance? Sending the same message, time and again, does not create the right impression. Also, if, after however many years, they still want founder members, it rather sounds as though the Research Action Fund has not got off to a good start!
A change of tune and a more realistic ‘ask’ might do the trick. Having said all that, the charity has achieved good growth over the years and, with others, has very much helped to put prostate cancer ‘on the map’.
