If I was somewhat brighter, I would write this in rhyme: because that is how a letter (which purports to have been written by an 11-year old) has come to me from S Pinter Youth project – which offers opportunities to children in the Stamford Hill area. It claims to be the largest holiday playscheme in Britain (although that could not be fitted into the letter). Over 500 girls aged 5 – 11 benefit during various holidays.
It may be novel to write a fundraising letter in rhyme (with the last word in every line ending with ‘….ation’), so as to atttract attention, but an ordinary letter would make for easier reading!
