Wasting Money

Last year my mum requested a Blue Cross Christmas catalogue. It arrived very promptly and we placed an order and was very happy with the products.

A couple of days later another catalogue dropped onto the mat. We were a little puzzled but assumed they had sent it so we had a spare order form. Then another one arrived, and another. We rang and told them and the mail stopped.

Yesterday we received two new Christmas catalogues both with identical names addresses and supporter number.

I am starting to panic. W requested last years catalogue in October and ended up with four. That’s one for every week of that month. We are in August. so by my calculation if left unchecked we should get another 17 copies by time the festivities arrive!

My point is how much money is this charity loosing sending out duplicate items? Surely there’s some kind of check they can do to weed out these flaws which must end up loosing them a chunk of their hard earned donations
