Arrived yesterday. On the outside is a photo of a sweet looking kid called Tom. Underneath the plastic address window (tut-tut) is the question “Why can’t they treat my Tom decently”

Inside is a letter from Toms mother telling of how he has been bullied by people because he has Down’s syndrome and how he was frightened of walking the 400 yards to go and see his gran.

There is also a letter from Tom saying how he felt when these things were happening.

There is also a leaflet explaining how your money will help children like Tom and a dd form and envelope.

It’s a simple but powerful message from a mother and will strike a chord with many people who have experienced bullying or had a child bullied because they are ‘different’.
