Barnardos is one of the oldest Children’s Charities which has, over many years, dealt with childhood deprivation and disablement in all its forms.  The latest mailing describes Autistic Spectrum Disorder, a frightening lack of ability to communicate.   The mailing contains a set of illustrations described as part of “literature exchange communication system” which can help to open up a whole new world for children with ASD.  This communication from Barnardos was simple and effective, just what it should be.
