One of the really positive things about charities is that they encourage altruism and offer opportunities for people to give something themselves to the cause which they support. I see it happening every day in the charity with which I am involved.
When this personal giving takes place in some of the most deprived and dangerous parts of the world then one cannot but admire those who are involved, so Doctors with a Mission will always receive my meagre support with their attempts to combat preventable diseases and to provide surgery to help restore sight, hearing, speech and the ability to walk in children in various parts of the world. Why did they write to me twice sending a keyring and a penny?
Does anyone know anything about the Freepost address in Crawley from which appeals for Medical Mission International and Doctors with a Mission both emanate?
