NCH (National Childrens Home)
Sent the NCH charity a tenner last week & now they use a whole sheet of A4 in an envelope to say thank-you. Do wish charities wouldn’t do that. I know you need the dosh to do your work so i could have guessed you would be thankful, so i honestly don’t need telling. It is such a dreadful waste of resources – the time cost of whoever processed it and stuffed the envelope, the environmental cost in using the paper, the monetary cost of the stamp – that it makes me wonder you don’t have better use for the money. Two points then. If you must thank me, how about a little preprinted card? Or, even better, at least put a Freepost envelope in with the note (or comp slip) rather than sending me an envelope in a few weeks or so?
