Stop me & buy one

This month i have participated in 4 charity raffles, even though i know i shall win none as i never ever do. The reason i buy my own tickets is that at certain times of the year i am so deluged with books of tickets if i were to try and flog them at work, for example, it would take me so long schlepping round to find buyers , and after a while people would be avoiding me so as not to have a book of tickets waved at them again. Plus i only work with two other people so it really would be asking a lot!

If i supported only one or two charities i would brazen it out but 4 or more seems excessive. I don’t mind being sent the books but i do feel bad for not making an effort. And if i bought all – say £10 worth – I would feel as though i was not making a real donation. So i buy £5 of tickets and donate £5.

Seems a lame topic but i wonder what others do as i am sure that of the bloggers on here i am not the only one who could paper the house with tickets at times.
