This is a charity which I have been supporting for some years. It seems to be well administered, although I sometimes wonder if costs could perhaps be reduced by use of less paper and enclosures that come with the mailings. I would like the charity to provide updates on the percentage of donations which reach the recipients, after admin./running costs have been taken into account. I like their periodic issue of greetings cards which one can complete and send to the child whom one is supporting. I would also welcome the ability to choose a child in a specific country so that I might communicate with the child in his/her language. A final thought – it would be helpful if charities to which one gives would automatically confirm to supporters that our personal details are not being passed on to any third party.
